I've been bitched at by BIPOC for saying that the economic piece is important. "Why," they ask, "we won't get any of it."

Thing is, it's near impossible to untangle the two pieces if you really want to fix things.

Poor people will always suffer, regardless of the tribe they belong to. And there will always be poor people as long as fascists need them to scare the lower working class into staying in line.

You can't have a country of middle class people as long as there are people suffering from other forms of discrimination. You can't have a country of free equal people as long as there's a poor underclass of any color.
