I think tonight showed, once again, that there's nobody like Messi in our game. I know that's obvious, but it's worth saying. Cristiano is a phenomenon in his own right, but nobody can seize a moment like Messi and turn a half-chance into a goal the moment he touches the ball.
Credit to Griezmann too, for being willing to be second banana this season and work with rather than in spite of Messi. That takes real humility and self-confidence, to understand he's in the presence of a generational talent that, no matter his sizeable ego, he'll never touch.
