Do folks know how devastating US-NATO influence has been in Ukraine since the 2014 EuroMaidan? How both Democrats and Republicans, including President-elect Joe Biden, propped up oligarchs and neo-nazis?
EuroMaidan started in 2014 when Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych announced his administration will continue to work with Russia and not continue with the trade agreement they had been working on with the European Union. The pro-Western anti-East forces erupted.
Ukraine was at the time Russia's biggest trading partner. In trying to politically and economically isolate Russia, the West intervened and propped up this movement as "democratic" and denounced the Yanukovych "regime". But Yanukovych did have support, signifcan.
U.S. politicians went to Ukraine showing their support for these protests to remove their democratically elected president. Assistant Sec. of State for European and Eurasian Affairs Victoria Nuland was adamantly pro-Maidan. Biden has now chosen her to be the Under Sec. of State
The U.S. supported and funded the overthrow of a sovereign state's president. Yanukovych fled to Russia for his safety. Yanukoyvch had a strong base in the Eastern part of the country and in Crimea. Crimea voted to return to Russia, but the East declared independence
A civil war broke out between the Ukrainian state and their Eastern separatists. The divide between the East who are more ethnically Russian and left-wing while the West contains more Ukrainian nationalists and right-wingers. The U.S. has sent billions to Ukraine funding this war
Ukrainian Neo-Nazi militias and battalions in the Ukrainian army have also received training from Israel, of course. Here is neo-nazi Andriy Blitzkey who led marches against Jewish Ukrainians meeting with the Chairman of the Knesset of Israel on Domestic Policy
In Ukraine, they have compulsory military service for men over 18 who are not in University or disabled. This war has led to a massive exodus of young Ukrainian men into Western Europe, Russia, the USA and Canada where they face cheap labor and xenophobia.

Ukrainians have also massively economically suffered while the right-wing President Poroshenko got richer and richer off the war, and US-NATO funding. 2014 produced a massive decline in GDP and wages, not surpassing the devastation of when they left the USSR

While the conditions are slightly different, the influence of US imperialism has devastated Eastern Europe. I fear for what Biden's presidency will mean for Belarus, I truly do. The Democrats are war-mongers, imperialist parasites
I want us all to start thinking of Ukrainian people not as fascists but as victims of US imperialism. I do not believe their government represents their interests shown to me by the decline in their conditions. I wish them peace, stability, and uplift their revolutionary history.
