I have a small request for anyone who is receiving the COVID-19 vaccines and discussing the unpleasant side effects from them:

Please don't exaggerate or overdramatize your discomfort. I fully get that this vaccine, especially dose 2, provokes an intense immune response.
That can understandably feel very uncomfortable and I am not trying to belittle that in any way- but please be cognizant of the situation we find ourselves in with vaccine hesitancy.

Don't lie and underplay your symptoms- people should have realistic expectations about this.
But also remember that there are many people who feel very hesitant about this vaccine as a starting point and overdramatic comments about how bad you feel will be weaponized to make them think it's not worth it.
