The JK Organization (estd. 1918) is an Indian industrial conglomerate, run by the Singhania family, which rose to prominence in Kanpur, India, under Lala Kamlapat Singhania. This #Marwari family is currently divided into three main groups based in Kanpur, Delhi and Mumbai.

The name JK is derived from the initials of Kamlapat & his father Seth Juggilal, who belonged to the family associated with the Marwari firm Sevaram Ramrikhdas. Sevaram Ramrikhdas firm’s division resulted in independent offshoots at Kanpur, Mirzapur, Farrukhabad & Kolkata.

Sevaram Ramrikhdas employed the RPG Group patriarch, RP Goenka's grandfather's great-grandfather, Ramdutt Goenka. The group rose in importance in the 1950s to 1980s, when it was the third-largest industrial conglomerate in India after the Birla and Tata conglomerates.

After Kamlapat the business was passed on to his 3 sons- Padampat, Kailashpat & Lakshmipat. Padampat estd Straw Products Ltd in 1940 with support from Nawab of Bhopal - Hamidullah Khan. They set up a gas plant, JK Rampur Gas Plant, supported by the princely state of Rampur.

They also acquired a plant of the Aluminium Corporation of India in Asansol. Lakshmipat established a small steel plant, JK Steels, near Rishra in West Bengal, and a paper mill in Odisha. The brothers also acquired National Insurance Company during the period of World War 2.

The family supported the British Govt during the war years & stepped up the production to meet the needs of British Army. Due to the support given to British Govt during the war, Padampat Singhania was conferred with knighthood at The Viceroy's House, New Delhi, in 1943.

Gaur Hari Singhania was the eldest son of Padampat Singhania and former Chairman of JK Group Kanpur. His son, Yadupati Singhania was the Chairman and Managing Director of JK Cement Ltd and an alumnus of IIT Kanpur.

The Kanpur family runs JK Cement Ltd & JK Technosoft, while the Delhi family runs JK Tyre, JK Paper, JK Lakshmi Cement, JK Fenner India Ltd, Global Strategic Technologies (a military equipment division), PSRI Hospital. The Mumbai family runs the Raymond Group of companies.

Though run independently of each other, the various companies that are part of the organization all use the JK Group Logo, in recognition of the family's history. By tradition, the oldest male member of the family becomes the President of the JK Organisation.

A number of exquisite temples, at various places have been constructed by the JK Group. The famous amongst them are Shri Dwarkadhish Temple, Sri Kamleshwar Temple & Shri Radhakrishna Temple at Kanpur and temples elsewhere noted below.
