Everyone should read @Mark__Bray and recognize that antifascism isn’t a dominating force, but a *response* to growing danger. Antifascism leans on generations of knowledge about what the threat of creeping fascism looks like as well as proven methods in curtailing it.
“Antifa” fades out of sight after the fascist threat is neutralized and then rebuilds when it comes back.
But time and again, the need in curtailing fascism is people recognizing it early on and *believing* those who know what they’re talking about when they flag it.

Those who know what they’re talking about are of course anarchists and leftist organizers, but also people with marginalized identities who on a typical day have to contend with the capitalist white supremacist violence that colors every facet of the status quo.
People need to stop ignoring those who feel the heat before you smell the smoke.
