So since there's a lot of buzz about social media censorship, now feels like an appropriate time to bring up the legislation that's in place and on the table to censor sex workers - it lays the foundation to affect everyone, especially SESTA and the EARN IT Act
SESTA amended section 230 of the Communications Decency Act (something Trump wants gone very badly). It's caused SW to have less support online, entire websites for us to vanish, strict crack downs on social media for us, SW arrests to go up and sex trafficking arrests to go down

EARN IT forces companies and websites to create backdoors into end to end encryption on the basis of getting rid of CSAM.

And now SISEA in the works, which demands a fully staffed 24 hour hotline for any website hosting porn, removal of any flagged material within 2 hours and a list of "actors" or "victims" w/o the ability to be both. Websites wont be able to meet or fund these demands - bye porn
It's mostly just sex workers affected at the moment, but if you care about it not being you later, you'll fight for us now. Call, email, tweet, talk about FOSTA&SESTA, EARN IT and SISEA. Vote out the legislators who pushed for this and support sex workers and online freedom.
