Someone just lost USDT in 6 figures to scammers hiding behind decentralize[dot]cash. They simply used the infinite authorization given earlier to spend funds from the victim's wallet. If this scares you (and it should), please do yourself a favor and adopt these practices.

1. Create (or buy) one storage wallet and use it only for transferring funds between your digital wallets. This storage wallet should not have any authorization to spend coins. Large funds should only be kept in the storage wallet (and not in your transactional wallets).
2. Revoke all spending authorization from the past that you no longer trust or will likely not need. Two extremely useful sites for doing this:

3. Always make a mental model of your online activities and adopt safe courses of action in the physical world as best practices online. Just as you do not keep your life savings in your physical wallet, do not keep all your funds in digital wallets you are transacting with.
