Neoliberals have become so full of themselves that they literally take words that have meant one thing for generations and make up a new definition so that the word still creates an emotional reaction BUT it’s better suited to fit their narrative w/o it being used against them.

Example:

They used to stick to calling Trump a racist. The problem is, Biden’s racism is too well known so the term doesn’t create a stark enough contrast.

So they now say “Fascist” only to use a bunch of synonyms and superlatives for “racist”.

So by using the word “fascist” to describe anyone and everyone considered to be supportive of Trump, they still invoke the same emotions one would associate with authoritarianism, but as long as one doesn’t act like an over the top racist, they can escape being called a fascist.

Most racists aren’t actually fascist. Fascism requires a certain level of authority and influence that 99.5% of the country will never have. Almost all fascists are racist though. But what makes them fascist is the ability to unilaterally pass policy to manifest racism into law.

I honestly find nothing more hilarious than the fact a bunch of Biden voters actually pretend to care about or be offended by fascism, or racism for that matter. Y’all voted for the author of the patriot act and the 94 crime bill. Ur fake outrage is transparent and laughable.
