Denazification was the official term to describe the processes to de-platform nazis from all aspects of German society after the war.

It was effective.
Now the US must do the same.

Denouncing includes calling out and relentlessly shaming nazis. It means making the ideology in all respects abhorrent to all.

Removing nazis means arresting, prosecuting collaborators, facilitators. Including politicians.

But also removing nazis from public positions.

Finally there needs to be regular and sustained public education regarding the dangers of naziism.

Many right wing beliefs these days are extremist beliefs. Time to figure out why republicans and conservatives have been drawn in to these beliefs.

De-Trumpism.

Although it ran its course in Germany, those ideas became so marginalized that despite the internet, there are only small groups of extremists made up of people often with psychological problems.
The German government monitors them closely.

Important places for denazification:

Police, military, justice system, political positions, education positions, business, media.

If they espouse Trumpism, fail to denounce Trumpism, fire them.

This is an important step. Can’t have nazis in the military or police, etc.

This pretty much nails it.
