Gonna do a thread about my experience with Rona at Day 11. I am not a doctor, just an unlucky duck in a partnership with essential staff who caught it from an asymptomatic kid. I found info online about symptoms and prevention, nothing about self care during incubation.
If you're lucky like me ("lucky"), you get a diagnosis BEFORE symptoms come in. But what that means is a terrifying waiting period before symptoms hit while Rona grows inside of you.

The incubation period can be two days or ten. That's when you can spread it while feeling fine.
So you're just sitting there afraid you're going to die and no one online is telling you how to help your body prepare for what's coming. And that sucks.

So here's what I did after calling friends in the medical field and talking to my SUPER RAD doctor. YMMV.
The big enemy with this disease is inflammation, so I went to a strict diet that discouraged inflammation. Low dairy, no carbs other than a potato a day because potassium is an immunity booster and potatoes > bananas for potassium.
(Sorry, my friend dropped off soup, continuing.)

We took digestive probiotics, which not only can minimalize GI symptoms but will help if you end up on antibiotics.

Vitamin D, zinc, Vitamin C, Magnesium (Magnesium helps absorb Vitamin D as well as calcium.)
Sleep on your stomach or side per my doctor--it keeps any fluid building in your lungs from getting in the far back places.

HYDRATE. You might get diarrhea or the sweats. A gallon of fluid a day and part of that being Power Aid or drinks with electrolytes helps restore you.
And, YOGA BREATHING. Breathing through your nose means you get more of that precious oxygen goodness PLUS nitric oxide which helps reduce inflammation... the enemy. I was instructed to breathe in through my nose as deep as I could, hold it for five seconds, exhale through mouth.
Practicing that breathing also expands lung capacity and strengthens them, per my doctor, so I did that (and still do that) multiple sessions a day.
As far as foods I was encouraged to eat, green tea, avocado, asparagus, spinach, and four eggs A DAY. I was also advised to avoid a lot of caffeine and to maintain my regular meds--controlling my comorbidities was super important.
I did purchase a pulse oximeter per a nurse friend of mine and used it at the same time I did my daily temp checks.

It was $25 and the goal is to stay over 90, which was more relevant once symptoms appeared. https://www.amazon.com/Santamedical-Oximeter-Fingertip-Saturation-Batteries/dp/B08HH86RT2/ref=mp_s_a_1_1_sspa?adgrpid=54741027743&dchild=1&gclid=CjwKCAiAxeX_BRASEiwAc1QdkeTyXgFd7qQx0dHKDtwHKmhWgLOkSkXaQQyyY_mQ8ka62MtnB_h5KhoCXDgQAvD_BwE&hvadid=274746043183&hvdev=m&hvlocphy=1018133&hvnetw=g&hvqmt=e&hvrand=17403780946023329493&hvtargid=kwd-304006405598&hydadcr=10098_9882353&keywords=pulse-oximeter&qid=1610217900&sr=8-1-spons&tag=hydsma-20&psc=1&smid=A8YXBQ7YB5YFQ&spLa=ZW5jcnlwdGVkUXVhbGlmaWVyPUEyOTZZTUFCN0FVTUlMJmVuY3J5cHRlZElkPUEwMjE3MDc3MkNORVcwM1BUTU1VNCZlbmNyeXB0ZWRBZElkPUEwMDk3ODE2Q1dFUEVVQ0Q3MFcxJndpZGdldE5hbWU9c3BfcGhvbmVfc2VhcmNoX2F0ZiZhY3Rpb249Y2xpY2tSZWRpcmVjdCZkb05vdExvZ0NsaWNrPXRydWU=
Anyway, three people in this house got Covid at the same time. It affected us differently, no two symptoms alike. It's weird and unpredictable. I can't tell you that all of these things helped, but none of us got super ill (yet) and having The Plan helped keep my panic in order.
But the TL:DR is inflammation bad, do what you can to avoid it including investigating diet choices.

Good luck, stay healthy.
