/Officers, veterans, undoubtedly active duty folks, have fallen prey to propaganda. The military is a reflection of society, and as such, we get these weak-minded individuals. It cannot overshadow those who serve, have served honorably.
/What would their response would be to the question, "What do you want?" Most would probably respond with, "I want my country back." What the hell does that even mean? Nobody has taken your country -just because you disagree with it, doesn’t mean it’s gone.
/America First? Really? Look at the aid to other countries doled out during this administration, and to which countries this aid went to. In the meantime, food pantry lines are getting longer, and Americans are dying at alarming rates.
/We know trump doesn't want "his country back." He wants A country where he can be king, enrich himself and his wealthy friends. He told his followers, "I'll be there with you, let's walk down Pennsylvania Ave..." Then, he went and hid.
/His followers did what he wanted, and now they will pay the consequences, as trump disappears to his golf club in Florida.
/I've learned a few things these last four years. We have some very weak-willed people in this country who are dying to belong to something they don't completely understand. They just want to be part of something that soothes their fragile egos.
/I've learned that the only thing conservatives want to "conserve" is their status in life and selfish ambitions. They like having a lower class. They like exploiting the working-class people. They like having the power to ignore a pandemic and watching people die.
/I've learned that having served in the military doesn't necessarily make one an honorable person. We've seen that with many in our Senators, Congresspersons, Cabinet members, and high ranking officials with the administration.
/I've learned that grown 'men' simply can't take "NO" for an answer. It's not about getting to the bottom of "voter fraud," or standardizing our election process. They've had more than sufficient time to do that - it's about being told "NO."
/Their ruse about fairness, election integrity, contradicts their actions as their obvious attempts at voter suppression was out in full view.
/I've learned that the number of young people I saw rushing the Capital have never been held accountable. Perhaps a tour of duty in our military will give them an idea of what living under an authoritarian feels like - but their cowardice prevents them from joining.
/I've learned that there is no such thing as pro-life. I've learned that there are those out there using the Gospel for their benefit. They prey on the vulnerable as they pass the collection plate and watch from their private jets as those souls wait in line for a box of food.
/I've learned that when you treat people like crap, they will go to the polls and vote you out in a New York minute, and that there is nothing more dangerous than people armed with the right and ability to vote.
/America is not perfect. Our flaws and weaknesses have been exposed by a delusional, selfish, weak, coward who has never been told "NO," until now, and he can't cope. We can move forward, but we must close those loop holes because others like him are standing in the wings.
