I've been passing on ~a lot~ of queries this week bc there's a strange pattern in my inbox of ppl sending pitches without telling me what the story's about? I give ppl the chance to re-query, but I'm noticing ppl spend more time on bio or greeting me than outlining the book

If you're a new querying author, @bookendslit has so many incredible resources in the blog and Youtube channel to help you start to format a query! I've definitely noticed there's a sort of rush to send the query off to me, but when I can't invest in it I pass and it's a bummer!
