Since some people are arguing that Trump is getting censored, I think it's important to remind people of the unprecedented censorship carried out by the Trump Administration.
Do you remember when they forbade agencies like NASA to publish and tweet certain scientific topics?

Do you remember when they scrubbed government sites online of mentions of the climate? Here's a reminder: https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2017/may/14/donald-trump-climate-change-mentions-government-websites
Do you remember when different agencies had to create ROGUE twitter accounts because the Trump administration didn't allow them to tweet about science that didn't fit their agenda? https://www.reuters.com/article/us-usa-trump-resist-idUSKBN15A0DI
This IS censorship. From the highest offices of power in the US. This was an attack on free speech from YOUR GOVERNMENT, and the people who suddenly have issues with privately own companies themselves deciding how to run their business: You didn't care about this. At all.
So spare me your tears regarding censorship because you have nothing against censorship. You do not champion freedom of speech.
The only thing you're a champion of is one thing: Your OWN voice being heard, and everyone else being silenced. That is the only thing you want.

I sincerely hope that the Biden administration will lift these rules so that science can once again be... at least a bit more free. There's never going to be a complete disconnect since funding will always be a thing, of course.
But the fact that they put restrictions on what could even be mentioned on sites and on Twitter etc, that was unprecedented.
And very, very dangerous.
