Yesterday, people were in their feelings about the coup. This was always a possibility, but being in your feelings about it is not enough. Pick something that you can do to make things meaningfully better, and do that one thing. The Black Lives Matter sign in your yard is not it.

Someone pointed out a diagram about the experiences of women in tech that showed that even if most dudes are good dudes, the women are so completely outnumbered that a few bad dudes can make a field appear bad because that couple of bad dudes can make the few women miserable.

The same deal happens here with racism. It doesn't take a lot of racists to make this place appear racist because the people of color are so vastly outnumbered that THEY will run into some racists even if you do not see any.
