1/4 Thinking of social media giants as just regular private companies is wrong. Those companies are becoming utilities. Just like electricity, water, energy (gaz) access, etc... we are more and more relying on social media to develop as humans. It is dangerous to have a CEO
2/4 or a corporate board deciding on our rights to access to those platforms. If you live in NYC, you get your electricity from ConEd (a private company), if you purposely sabotage the power grid of your building, ConEd doesn't single-handedly decide to ban you from getting
3/4 electrity the justice system decides if you are guilty of purposly sabotaging electricity public utilities. You are then punished. It should not be twitter or FB job to decide who gets access to the social utilities they are providing. All that to say the justice system of
4/4 the USA is the entity that needs to deal with Trump because he surely is sabotaging our "social utility" grids (fb, Twitter). Having a few powerful humans deciding on our fate to have a voice or the ability to create social relations with other humans is a dangerous precedent
