This is common sense but... Please be kind to casting directors/possible clients. Don’t harass them if you did not get cast for their project. I am friends with multiple casting directors who have not cast me once but I don’t go and bother them about it. 🤷🏼‍♀️ (1/4)
Besides, it is nothing personal when they don’t cast you. They just found a better fit. It is not necessarily because you lack skill. It is not all about you. It is about what they want for their project. I understand being disappointed and that is valid but be cool. (2/4)
I am not saying don’t be sad over not getting a role you wanted. It is how you handle that rejection that is remembered. Be sad on your own time but don’t broadcast it or take it out on the CC or other voice actors who DID get the role. (3/4)
If it made you truly upset then step away and try to do something that relieves your sadness. Take a walk with your doggo, sketch in your notebook, read a few pages of a book or make yourself a comforting snack. It will be ok. There WILL always be other projects! (4/4)
