Okay, wait. I am noticing something... very interesting about Tommyâs post-second festival reflection.
Long as SHIT 5 AM thread because why the fuck not. Time starting at 55:52 on Tommyâs âDream SMP Is Obliterated by Technobladeâ vod.

He... he betrayed us! And he- we-
We were never... we were never really his friend, were we.
Heâs a monster. And he- ...but he told us- (looks away, confused)
Quackity: Tommy. Trust. Nobody. Trust nobody, Tommy. Okay?

Tommy: The thing is-
Quackity: Save for Tubbo, (Tommy makes a hurt noise here) trust nobody, okay?
Tommy: Yeah.
Quackity: Okay.
Tommy: Youâre right.
Then Tommy proceeds to talk about how the discs were his, but Lâmanberg was the people.
Tommy: Yeah.
Quackity: Okay.
Tommy: Youâre right.
Then Tommy proceeds to talk about how the discs were his, but Lâmanberg was the people.
Then he talks about how Technoblade is (in a summary of Tommyâs words) unyielding to the people who do not agree with his beliefs.
Quackity: Let this be a lesson, Tommy. Finish it off, Tommy.
And then Quackity goes on to tell Tommy that âheâ took everything from them and

And then Quackity goes on to tell Tommy that âheâ took everything from them and
they cannot let âhimâ win.
Quackity also says that Tommy should not go after Dream because of his discs, but for âmeans of justiceâ.
Tommy: Youâre right.
And then Tommy goes back to talking about how Technoblade is selfish for not letting Tommy have what he and the rest want.

See, thatâs the thing that FUCKING gets me about this. Because a lot of the beginning half was Tommy trying to rationalize his emotions and thoughts by saying them out loud.
We see Tommy go from âI betrayed Techno, we were friends!â to âTechno betrayed me, he never saw me
We see Tommy go from âI betrayed Techno, we were friends!â to âTechno betrayed me, he never saw me
as a friend,â in the span of a couple of minutes. But even then, he wars with himself, and thinks âbut-â
But Tommy doesnât really *settle* on an opinion until Quackity enters the picture and tells Tommy to trust nobody, which is probably a reference to not trust Technoblade.

Which... (and this is what I personally think happened here) made Tommy go from conflicted to, okay, that confirms it: Techno was the selfish one who betrayed us.
And when he thinks that out loud and goes on a tangent, Quackity says âheâ took everything away from them.
And when he thinks that out loud and goes on a tangent, Quackity says âheâ took everything away from them.
And thatâs ALSO the part that fucking gets me. Because who the fuck is he? Quackity name drops Dream a few moments later, but at that moment, Tommy is talking about Techno.
Quackity goes on a bit to say this is a âlessonâ for Tommy, and then goes on to specifically tell Tommy
Quackity goes on a bit to say this is a âlessonâ for Tommy, and then goes on to specifically tell Tommy
what he thinks Tommy should do (which is: go after Dream on behalf of Lâmanbergâs memory, rather than personal grudge). And then Tommy basically goes âyes, you are so right.â
And then he goes BACK to talking about Techno.
So who the fuck is the âheâ that took everything away?
And then he goes BACK to talking about Techno.
So who the fuck is the âheâ that took everything away?
I think, because of the ambiguity, and because Techno is what Tommyâs thinking about, Tommy took Quackityâs words as âTechno and Dream took everything away from you.â
The way I personally interpret that scene is this: Tommy was trying to process his confusion and hurt over his
The way I personally interpret that scene is this: Tommy was trying to process his confusion and hurt over his
fight with Techno and losing Lâmanberg. He didnât truly know what to think, because the hurt he felt in that moment was so at odds with the warmth he felt of the last few weeks.
And then Quackityâs character comes in and because he already dislikes Techno, because heâs an
And then Quackityâs character comes in and because he already dislikes Techno, because heâs an
authoritative and familiar part of the community Tommy calls home, Tommy listens to him.
I sincerely doubt Quackityâs character is being manipulative, because he wholeheartedly hates Technoâs character for his own experience-based reasons. He actually believes in what he says,
I sincerely doubt Quackityâs character is being manipulative, because he wholeheartedly hates Technoâs character for his own experience-based reasons. He actually believes in what he says,
because he has a lot of hurt and trauma and fear from his experiences with Technoâs character thus far. It makes sense that heâs pissed at the very powerful guy that blew up his nation.
Itâs just... His character doesnât know Technoâs character the way Tommyâs character.
Itâs just... His character doesnât know Technoâs character the way Tommyâs character.
And I think itâs safe to say Tommyâs character is easy to influence, especially in times of uncertainty.
Of course, this is all MY personal interpretation of the characters and the CCsâ brilliant acting. It can DEFINITELY be seen a different way and still be logical and valid.

Also please, I know we are all passionate bedrock boys fans here, but do not send any rage at any of the CCs for their characters! Everyone is reasonable in their own PoV!

character just from an outsider perspective!
This interpretation may not even be accurate! And do not hate anyone for liking one character over another!
Itâs just. Horse at sea. Man.

lol my hands are shaking so much from lack of sleep
again, please donât send hate to any characters! they are all complex and make sense in their own PoVs.
also, it would make me very, very, very sad to see hate on Quackityâs character
i hope this thread makes sense :V gn!
