I setup @cryptojobsdaily in 2020 after seeing how many people want to work in crypto but didn't know how to land a job
If you are looking for work in crypto I made a thread with some tips how to start a career in crypto

1) Show initiative
Blockchain companies need team members who can hit the ground running and don't need hand-holding.
-The best way to display this is to show initiative
-Learn the company culture and what they need before applying

2) Be relevant
50%+ of applicants I see reference their first bitcoin purchase...no one cares.
-Talk about your work experience and blockchain knowledge
-Give specific examples relating to the person specification for the job
-Share your portfolio of work

3) Be persistent
Finding a job can often be a job in itself. In my experience, people need to persevere and not give up.
-Search and apply for jobs every day
-Make sure your cover letter is specific to the role you are applying for
-Ask for feedback on applications/interviews

4) Use your head
Use your past experiences in crypto to predict the future.
-Exchanges will face record signups soon. They will need new staff asap.
-Contact your favorite exchange and present yourself as a candidate BEFORE they start hiring

5) Network
Most jobs are filled through recommendations before they are even advertised.
-Let people in this space know what you do and good at
-Make companies aware that you are looking for work
-People hire people they like. Don't be a dick on Twitter

6) Be resourceful
Don't feel shy to ask what skills are needed for a particular role.
-Ask the CEO in a DM or on Discord.
-Reach out to recruiters.
-Listen to our podcast. We ask every company what they look for in new staff and what jobs they currently have.

Final point, jobs in a crypto move just as quick as pumps.
If you like a job, you need to apply there and then. If you leave it till tomorrow, it's already been filled.

Ok more one lol
99% of people in crypto don't give a shit about anything else aside from pumps. To those people, working is beneath them.
You have very little competition in the job market within blockchain right now....take advantage of it
