Are there any centrists who are starting to wake up to what the polls have been showing us for the past six months? (Thread) https://twitter.com/BritainElects/status/1347866916690526212
Its almost as if UK politics isn't about which man in a suit leads the Labour Party, but how many people are willing to keep waving their
in the face of a corrupt & opportunistic death cult backed by a media that is largely under the control of the super-rich.

The Labour Party could be led by RLB, or John McDonnell, or the ghost of Jim Callaghan, & would still currently have the support of the c40% of voters who want a government that has some vague notion of the public interest.
But our media class, politicians & blue-tick tweeters are more interested in "proving" they were right all along, by discrediting the left & pushing for the return of a familiar, technocratic form of politics, that prevents a more dynamic form of opposition from emerging.
Whatever move Starmer makes, they will tell you it is strategic genius. Each U-turn is applauded as a political masterstroke. Each abstention, vapid speech or calculated silence is identified as the perfect pitch to voters who stopped listening to Labour years ago.
In reality, any hope of change now rests on the shoulders of an inexperienced and uninspiring leader whose content-free politics went out of fashion at least five years ago.
The result is that we are stuck with the meekest form of opposition imaginable at a time that demands bold & courageous political leadership. It is an inexcusable failure of intellectual courage & political imagination, for which this country will pay a heavy price.
