You know what actually *is* a Free Speech issue around Twitter suspending people?

All the black, Jewish, Muslim, LGBTQ, women, and members of all other marginalised groups whose accounts have been wrongly removed due to baseless mass-reporting by those who hate them.
Marginalised groups have always been disproportionately targeted in this way and no social network has taken any material action to address the problem.

So banning Trump will have no impact on social media’s power to disproportionally silence minorities and amplify privilege.
Governments have a responsibility to guarantee equal opportunity and this flaw - present on every social network - violates that every day.

Banning an individual from a social network as a consequence of their behaviour does not violate their Freedom of Speech.
But banning entire classes of people from social networks, solely as a consequence of their *identity* absolutely violates their Freedom of Speech because they *do* have a right to the *equal opportunity* for a platform. An opportunity they are currently denied.
