I’m get the feeling that Australia is starting to treat our elections like those in America. It’s being built up as “Albo vs ScoMo”, but it isn’t. The only people who have the potential to vote for either of them are those who live in their electorates; Grayndler & Cook. #auspol
It’s the party, not the politician.

If you align with the policies, values and ambitions of candidates of either party (or an smaller party of independent candidate, for that matter) then that’s who and what you vote for.

The long & the short of it is that if you’re comfortable with minister after minister being caught up in rorts, scandals & other forms of corruption. Obvious moves to benefit the rich in the country when the poor (which is everyone else, comparatively) need the help.
If you’re okay with keeping the party that had set up back technologically (with the NBN), has a land clearing record higher than that of 3rd world counties, & is a laughingstock because of it lack of action & ambition RE #ClimateAction, vote for your local LNP candidate.
But if you want a party that is, at the VERY least, none of those things, then vote #Labor.

But they’re so much more than that. They’re currently looking to create job here in Australia, restore the manufacturing industry, & give people fairer prices in their day-to-day lives.
If you are or have been a Labor voter & think that Anthony Albanese hadn’t been strong enough in his leadership of Labor while in opposition, the good thing is the vast majority of you aren’t effected by that. Vote for your local candidate. #auspol #auspol2021
