I think everyone's a little short-sighted on the censorship threat.

The goal isn't to censor conservatives.

Let's not forget that all of their plans are generational.

Once the problem hits you, it was planned so long ago that the pieces already fell into place while you weren't looking.

Things you're looking at now are setting up future events.
My theory is that the goal is to funnel alternative non-cathedral approved ideas off the big platforms (Facebook, Twitter, etc) and onto the alternative platforms.

They want to create two internets, one for approved thought and another for dissident thought.
Once the dissidents are off the old platforms they'll be stuck in a soundproof echo chamber. These alternative sites (MeWe, Parker, etc) won't be allowed to cross-infect the mainstream sites.

You won't be able to search them on Google.

Here's where the plan comes to fruition...
New generations of social media users will be funneled onto the mainstream sites.

With all dissidents moved to the second internet, the new generations won't be exposed to anything other than approved thought.
Think about where you were redpilled. For the vast majority of us who are millennial or younger, it was on social media or YouTube and many of us accidentally ran across alternative content.

That will no longer exist.
Simple atrophy says that without natural growth, the dissident internet will shrink, eventually becoming irrelevant.

This isn't something most people will notice right off the bat.
For example, Alex Jones still has a massive audience, but it isn't growing. Eventually it will die off.

As long as the second internet is sequestered from the first, growth won't happen at a fast enough rate to offset atrophy.
Remember, this is a generational plan. By the time it's in place, it's too late to fight.

The effects might not be seen for a decade, but the reality of hiding all dissident ideas in the shadows should alarm everyone.

Public opinion will be easier to control than it ever was.
The key to this puzzle is Donald Trump.

If he leaves Twitter and takes a huge portion of the right with him the gears are set in motion.

The remaining dissident right can be purged from the mainstream platforms, leaving toothless cuckservatives to appeal to incoming Republicans
I've seen a lot of libertarians celebrate the idea of ideologically-segregated platforms. I think that's shortsighted and ignorant of how society operates.

My fear is everything is much more controlled than it looks.
