Anyway Facebook's recent Trump about-face feels more cynical + directly tied to its regulatory future to me

Twitter grew a spine *way* too late, but you could see it happening. Facebook picked theirs up at the mall 5 minutes before the 2020 election (when Trump looked 🪦)
regulation in 2021 and beyond, existential threat of Section 230 changes, etc. are still a massive for all social platforms obviously. but i def thought Twitter might do this a few times since mid/late last year
