A lesson on free speech from someone that wants you to stop looking foolish saying that “Free Speech Just Died” when they banned Trump.

The right to free speech means that the government can’t arrest you for what you say (mostly.)
The 1st amendment does not protect you from the consequences of your words...
When events or churches cancel me because of things I’ve said on social media... my free speech wasn’t being violated. But my words carry consequences. (I didn’t wanna come anyway 😐)
If someone gets banned from a privately owned social media company...
Their free speech is not being violated.
They just broke the rules (that they agreed to) one too many times...
So feel free to be upset that Trump (I can’t tag him cause, well...) got banned, but because I love you and don’t want you to look foolish...
Stop saying that free speech just died.
Cause it didn’t.
