I remember this one shuttle ride to the airport, probably 12 years ago, in Seattle. The 2nd to last time I took a flight. And the 2nd to last time I entered the USA.
A lady on the bus was going through her purse. Talking with her companion about what she would and wouldn't be allowed to take on the plane.

And they agreed that a bottle of hand moisturizer or some other liquid she had had in her purse would not be allowed.

Her friend said:
"They'll take it away, for our protection."

That has always stuck with me.

That was one of the saddest, most despairing of days Ive had.

She thot her own hand cream was dangerous to her and that it was good to have it taken away

I see a lot of similar comments on twitter now.
There's something more dangerous than handcream, btw.

That's hands.

It might be the case that thumbs should be taken away, because thumbs make gripping knives easier.

Pointer fingers are dangerous too, they are trigger fingers, after all

And middle fingers, they're just rude
There's one surefire way to make sure no one uses their hands in dangerous ways, that's to remove them, handcuff passengers at the very least. Banning people from flights isn't enough. People drove cars and trucks to the capital. We should ban vehicles.
If you want to protest you can always do it from home.

With your phone, on Twitter or Facebook.

There's no other way to insure the valuable government services you've been receiving can carry on without these changes.
Didn't you read the terms of service agreement when you were born?

Read it.

If you read it you'll see.

It says you get none.
