For those who think that another impeachment won’t matter because of the time required and the lack of @GOP Senators supporting, remember this. Nixon resigned because of an impending impeachment which led @GOP Senators to go TO him and recommend resignation. 1/2
2/2 Today, @lisamurkowski called on trump to resign. If 19 @GOP Senators were to go to trump & inform him that they will vote YES for removal UNLESS he resigns, that would be enough to insure an ignominious removal. At that point, even trump would see resigning as best choice.
Add: But, Democrats, you have to start NOW to make this real. No more discussion and hand wringing. BE DECISIVE; that’s what America really wants.
