Question for #cdnmedia.
For two days now, thousands of Canadians have been posting on social media about the sentiment within the CPC for Trump and his campaign. Other than a single article on @CBCManitoba, the stories have been completely ignored by the media. Why?

Especially after witnessing how Trump and his radicalized supporters brought the US to the verge of chaos, it has become more important than ever for all Canadians to become aware of the dangers of far right radicalization. #cdnmedia's responsibility cannot be overemphasized 2/

We cannot afford to let Canada become infested with far right extremism and #cdnmedia can and should play a role in fighting it.
If extremism is not called out and stopped it will naturally be encouraged. We can no longer naively assume that it cannot happen in Canada. 3/

What we need from #cdnmedia is swift and sweeping condemnation of any sign of radicalization.
The early signs of far right extremism may look innocent but implications of allowing it to grow are unbearably devastating for Canada. There is absolutely 4/

There is absolutely no good excuse for #cdnmedia to look away and ignore early signs of far right movements. They owe it to Canadians to protect their democracy and establishments and any negligence in doing so can only be deemed as an intentional effort to protect politicians!
