Friday Recap:

Pipe bombmaker - Somewhere out there.

Armed zip-tie guys - Allowed to walk out of the Capitol.

FBI apparently only arresting members of the mob who went viral.

Republicans still claiming stolen election.

Trump still Commander-in-Chief, tweeting more incitement.
The mood seems to be changing to a feeling of safety, like the attack on democracy has been defeated.

They were not defeated. They were allowed to walk away. 99% of that mob has not been arrested or even identified.

Trump is still president, Republicans are still enabling him.
The Capitol Police chief is still in his job.

He still hasn't given a press conference or answered a single question from Congress or the media about why he failed so catastrophically at the one job he had, to police the Capitol.
147 Republican members of Congress voted to nullify the election results based on the same "stolen election" lie that Trump used to incite the mob.

All 147 of those Republicans remain in Congress and members in good standing of the Republican Party. No consequences at all.
Rather than remove him from power via the 25th Amendment, Pence and Trump's cabinet are either resigning, threatening to resign, or in hiding.

Today, in the middle of this national emergency, Pence flat out refused to answer or return a phone call from the Speaker of the House.
Members of Trump's administration have usurped from him certain powers of the presidency, including the powers of Commander-in-Chief, because they believe he can't be trusted with them.

They have not made any announcements about this development or held any press conferences.
No member of the Trump administration has taken a single question live on camera from any member of the press since the Capitol was breached.

At the time of this tweet, it's been about 52 hours.
Trump has faced no consequences.

The people around Trump have faced no consequences.

The Republican politicians who enabled & repeated Trump's big lie that the election was stolen have faced no consequences.

99% of the people who stormed the Capitol have faced no consequences.
Trump, enabled by most of the Republican Party, incited a deadly mob to attack Congress in order to stop the certification of the election and then held off the National Guard from coming to their aid for hours.

Two days later, almost no one involved has faced any consequences.
I feel like I'm going crazy. None of this is over at all and Republicans are acting like it's over.

The guys who stormed the Senate floor dressed and armed for war with zip-tie handcuffs and the intent to use them on members of Congress are still out there somewhere.
