ALL Americans need to learn from the mistakes we've made during the administration of a would-be dictator. We must not accept statements as fact without checking them. We must not allow ourselves to fall victim to the hate game rising dictators play. #wtpBLUE /1
We must ask ourselves why we would hate any particular group of people and be honest in our answers to ourselves and act accordingly. We must look at the actions of those who want to lead us. Do they reveal a sane, caring human or not? /2
We must ALWAYS take advantage of our right to vote. If many hadn't done that in 2020, we would be a dictatorship right now. If Georgians hadn't done so this month, we would not have Dem. control of the Senate and be unable to repair the damage already done. /3
Most important of all is that we must NEVER forget how close we came to losing our democracy and how easily this was done, and we must ensure that history accurately and clearly records these dark events so that future Americans learn from our errors.
