The dangers of Armenia's normalization of relations with Turkey.

The Turkish state, along with their allies, has attempted to force relations with Armenia for years on their terms. Their goal is to dismantle Armenian statehood and sovereignty.
Turkey's goal is to establish relations without acknowledgement of the genocide, for which Armenians are rightfully owed reparations. Establishing relations on such terms would force Armenians to abandon all legal rights tied to the genocide, our lands and right to return.
Although Armenia does not have open land claims against Turkey, normalizing relations legitimizes Turkish occupation of our homeland. This robs Armenians everywhere of their legal rights as inheritors of that land to one day inhabit it again.
Turkey also seeks to distance Armenia from the diaspora, which actively lobbies for genocide recognition all over the world. Armenia benefits from the diaspora's engagement which strengthens our national position, without state resources.
Normalizing relations becomes even more dangerous when Armenia is already in a losing position. It is rumored PM @NikolPashinyan intends to sign such an agreement in Moscow on January 11th. This is a catastrophic loss for the nation and should be prevented at all costs.
These agreements are always predicated with promises of trade, prosperity and economic stability. The policies are actually designed to connect Turkey with Azerbaijan and the other Turkic states in the east. Armenia is always destined to fail as a result.
It is clear that this has always been the goal of this war: to weaken Armenia so much so that we abandon our rights entirely so they can finally "finish the job." The Turkish state has no desire to pursue peace or trade with Armenia. Their goal is our destruction. Please wake up.
