On Nov 25, 1,794 hospital beds were occupied by people w/Covid (CDPHE data). CO neighbor states showed signs of peaking.
Covid Modeling Group predicted 2,420 beds occupied in 2 wks (12/8). Not one of their 1,000 simulations showed less than 2,300 beds by Dec 8.
Guess what?

On Dec. 8, Colorado had 1,755 beds occupied by Covid patients (not 2,420).
CO never even hit 2,000 Covid occupied beds.
The Nov. 25 report also predicted by now (Jan 8) we would have around 3,750 Covid hospitalizations.
We have 857.
This is who we let run our lives.

Look, it's OK to be wrong. That's how we learn.
But we shouldn't bet our lives on someone being right when they haven't demonstrated the ability to predict the next week, let alone the next month.
Nature is in control, not us.
But this is how they see us:

@CDPHE & Covid Modeling Group are under the Illusion of Control & believe they understand progression of Covid.
They've likely always been incompetent. We just never noticed until we put them in charge of our lives.
What does that make us?
Open up.
