The victim broke through & climbed up over the barricade. The PSD officer fired one shot, killing her. A armed USCP CERT team was on stairs behind her and completely lost awareness of what their duties were & seemed unwilling to defend the Capitol or assist PSD @ shots fired 2/3
It’s early but IMHO Capitol Hill Police should not be defunded. It should be disbanded. Place it under the Department of Homeland Security. Officers who did not abandon their duties should be retained. Everyone else should be summarily fired. 3/3
