There is already compelling evidence that security was inadequate, there were some insiders in the Capitol police force who facilitated mob's access to the Capitol, & Trump's orders in place kneecapping response from DOD/Pentagon/National Guard.

Lost in all of this is how extraordinary it was that @VP authorized additional support, bcuz Trump refused to do so. Someone at DOD had the good sense to bypass command. I'm not a fan of Pence, but I believe he was 100% set up to be martyred.

The part I'm still trying to piece together is where Cruz, Hawley & the other #GOPRatBastards fit in -- they & other members of the #SeditionCaucus have led the charge to invalidate election results. What were they promised in return? Guilty, stupid, or both?

We got damn lucky this time. Congressional security acted swiftly. Lives (& the Republic) were saved.

Why did the FBI's domestic terrorism force not identify the very public threats and plans unfolding on social media?

Is there a connection between 1/6 & Trump's recent pardons of Blackwater war criminals? Were any of them directly or indirectly involved with the coup?

Joe Biden and his team raised concerns a few weeks ago about ongoing issues getting Pentagon access/info.

20/20 hindsight -- was it just more Trump pettiness, or were there "irregularities" they not want Biden & his team to identify?

Does anyone really believe Trump, who has told 26,000+ lies in the last 4 years, will keep his word to peacefully transition power to the incoming Biden Administration?

There is so much we don't know right now. Clearly, Trump must be removed (lawfully) as quickly as possible. But, it will take a lot of time to uncover the full extent of the events of 1/6, & who was *really* involved/behind this attempted coup.

Out of an abundance of caution, & for their's & everyone else's safety, the transfer of power should take place with as few participants as possible, in an undisclosed location. It can be played back later. (I wouldn't even livestream it. It's too risky).

Traitors remain in our midst, whose motivations & the level of involvement from within remain unanswered questions.
