What really convinced me to switch from tropical to sidereal was actually my venus in detriment in tropical, and exalted venus in sidereal. Don't get me wrong, I fucking loved my aries venus, it made me badass, independent, cool, and I didn't give a fuck about what people thought
And, I never wanted a pisces venus in tropical, because I know quite a few, and their love lives were kind of... not what I ever wanted or aspired to.
But, I watched a KRS video about pisces venus, and the description matched me entirely. Pisces venus expects perfection, and doesn't settle for less, and they often have wealth naturally come to them. These are traits that hold very true for me
And, I realized, part of the whole thing about tropical is that I was seeing venus as... kind of shallow, boring, and I'm not even a cynic about love, I do believe in it
So, I looked at tropical scorpio venus stereotypes, and realized that they, too, were quite Venusian, because those are based on sidereal Libra venus traits. They want one partner, and they're committed and passionate about that
once again, that makes way more sense than tropical Libra venus, who are stereotyped as flighty, and constantly looking for a partner. But, if venus is love, isn't that counterproductive? to be with just anyone without showing yourself truly?
And, same for tropical pisces venus, who gave unconditional love to unworthy partners (ime). It's not a good idea if you want a serious, equal, and, loving partnership
Than, I started looking at the other planets the same way, and I realized, sidereal interpretations were just more convincing to me, personally. It doesn't make sense for Jupiter to not be taken seriously if it is a teacher (one of the most respected professions ever)
or for saturn to be a capitalist daddy, when saturn represents laborours and those in less dignified jobs (an interpretation that even traditional tropical astrology holds true)
So, I just switched. And, honestly, everything just made more sense. It was just better. I'm sure the interpretations may not appeal to other people as much, but to me, it was just better
