I’m gonna rank The Weeknd’s albums on MY PREFERENCE. I’ll also give a shortened and simple review on each one.

8. Starboy (7.510)
Even though this is my bottom album, it is still amazing imo. I think this album was great from the vocals to the production. It was a little more mainstream, but for a more mainstream album, it was great.
Favorite tracks: Starboy, Ordinary Life, All I Know.

7. Kissland (8.5/10)
Great album, it consists of longer tracks that fade together super well. It is really atmospheric, which is one of my favorite qualities of Abel’s music. Overall a really solid project for a followup of Trilogy.

6. Beauty Behind The Madness (9/10)
Again, great album. There is a massive pop influence on this album and the features show it as well. This was Abel’s prime in his fame in my opinion. I think he was trying to appeal to the mainstream and he did it right.

5. Thursday (9.5)
The Trilogy is undeniably some of Abel’s best work. Thursday shows Abel’s raw talent. The beats are beautifully simplistic as well. Overall this album is amazing. The mixing is done well for the songs as well.

4. My Dear Melancholy, (10/10)
This album is perfect imo. It was short and sweet. It is pretty self explanatory on the feeling of the album, melancholy and sad. This project didn’t have any bad songs. The production and mixing is beyond amazing as well.

3. House of Balloons (10/10)
This project is beyond amazing for a breakout mixtape. Everything is literally perfect in my eyes, the production is so amazing. Abel’s voice is so beautifully mixed especially on tracks like Loft Music and The Knowing.

2. After Hours (10/10)
I would give this album a 11/10 if I could. Easily 2020 aoty. The 80’s influence on the album with the synths is so amazing along with the vocals, especially on tracks like Alone Again. The production is perfect as well.

1. Echoes Of Silence (10/10)
My personal favorite mixtape of all time. This project has production and vocals that are perfect and the songs fade in so well together. Everything is just perfect. The project feels atmospheric and ambient like Kissland. Favorite Track: Outside

The Weeknd’s discography is almost perfect imo. The 1 and 2 spots were hard to determine because EOS and AH are so close to me. Abel is undeniably talented and I can’t wait to see where he goes with his next project.
