Hey any chemistry grad students out there working to incorporate an education component/chapter of their thesis.
What's your experience been like?
Glad to see others are looking too! Working in my department, I got involved in many teaching programs and opportunities. I also joined the @cirtlnetwork and am hoping to complete my own TAR (teaching as research) project soon.
I talked to my boss and we agreed that chem ed research would help further my career goals. I also got in contact with a prior student in the department that had done something similar.
Turns out I just needed my PI & committee to agree to that to get it approved. Onwards to chem ed/education research! Who's joining me?
I will be able to include my education research in my thesis!
