Now, when people tell me #Coronavirus has a 99% survival rate, i always say that 1% isn't an option to lose. Today I lost a customer, a lovely man who was always kind to me. Now a customer isn't someone particularly close to me. I'm aware, my grief is small.
His wife lost her other half, they have been married for a long, long time.
Yesterday I spoke to her and tried to be positive.
Yesterday she was a wife, today she is a widow.
Yesterday I spoke to her and tried to be positive.
Yesterday she was a wife, today she is a widow.
All because someone didn't stay home.
Today her children have lost their father, Grand children will never know Christmas with him.
Because someone didn't take the right precautions.

Because someone didn't take the right precautions.
The worst part is she couldn't be with him. She knew he was dying and she couldn't hold his hand.
Today i grieve for him, and everyone else who has passed away from this god awful disease.

Stay home people, because this is killing people.
Whether they are old, or have underlying health conditions or are just people.
They were real, and they matter.
So do their families.
