Let’s not forget to ask the Holy Spirit to help us to discern the times we are living in right now and that we would walk and live accordingly. It goes far beyond what the human eye can see or read on socials or the news.

Those things can serve as sign posts but they are not the interpreter of the times. Only the Lord has true insight into what is transpiring in our nation and across the globe right now.

So this is my one exhortation - don’t forget to ask and then wait long enough with patience and persistence for Him to answer. It takes longer than our click bait generation is used to. We scroll and react and emote -

but I know that what is required of us right now is asking of the Supremely Wise One who sees all and knows all to guide us in His perfect light.

He is patient and long suffering and He calls us to be the same so His answers come softly, often slowly but with anchors that will hold your soul until the end of time.
