So for this one, I tried to rank Trump in the long, sad roster of caudillos—LTIN American dictators. And guess what? He loses in that department, too! As @Scrface87 would do:
Trump didn’t erect as many monuments as Rafael Trujillo of Dominican Republic. No dynasty like the Somozas of Nicaragua. Couldn’t be bothered to join his marauding army on Wednesday. Shit, even Mexico’s General Santa Anna—most inept caudillo of them all—gave his leg in combat!
In fact, Trump only matches up and even exceeds his fellow Americas autocrats in one category:
