IT LIVES!!

Ok, time to document/comment on my experience as I setup and sync this #monero node with PiNodeXMR https://twitter.com/DontTraceMeBruh/status/1347532131287891970
The node is using a Raspberry pi 4gb. I got an 8gb version, but I ended up using the 8gb version to upgrade my bitcoin node, and will use the 4gb for Monero.

It's using a 240gb m.2 SSD inside the Argon case. Passive and active cooled.
Turn on the raspberry, and go to webUI on the computer an I'm greeted with this

Donation sent. I'll send more later if I get this thing synced and working.
Enter web terminal using default username and password. Change username and password. Now the node is fully under my control MWUAHAHAHAHAHA
Set up the storage for where the blockchain will be stored. restart node.... everything very straightforward so far. If you can cook rice you can set this up.
checking for system updates... there are some so I let those download and install. This took about 10 minutes. Maybe less.
Next gonna check for updates for #Monero. There should be one, as 0.17.1.9 just released today. Hopefully it DOESN'T take several hours....
It's taking some time. Gonna go do something else and come back in an hour.
That took several hours... about 2.5 hours really.

Also updated PiNodeXMR itself and the built-in tor xmr blockchain explorer. That took another 30 minutes.
Aaaannnd we're running monero.
Forwarded ports 18080 and 18089 and now we wait for it to fully sync.

45 minutes in...
Current Sync Height: 193280
Target Block Height: 2270324
