I made $10,000 in a week working overnight 1am-1pm during the taper tantrum never trading larger than a 20 lot in the Eurodollars. Risk adjusted my best trading ever. Was also like my second month trading. Complete and total luck. I had no idea what I was doing.

But with great ranges come great opportunity. I hope we can continue to see vol like we had this week in treasuries. And I hope some of it is two way. Great environment versus 1-2 tick ranges we have had since march

Not saying that to brag, I lost all the money and made it back a bunch of times, but just noting that ranges can make fortunes, if you learn how to hold.

I was all excited after that week. My boss said, "Joe anyone can make money, but can you keep it when market turns bad again"? Took me longer to learn that part

I started out trading 1-4 lots I think. 2 lot default, 4 lot if you were super convicted! Goal was to make $50 a day. Fun to look back on. Doubled size every week or two we made money.
