Then select “Deposit” at the top left of the screen

From here, select “Cash” and search for GBP (or whatever your choice of currency is)
For the sake of this example, I will deposit £100 using Faster Payments so I don’t get charged a fee
Press “Continue” and you will be given the account details to send to and a reference

Important: the bank account must be in your name and should not be sent from any of the 3 banks listed below
Next, select the “Trade” button at the bottom of your screen
Click the two lines next to ETH/BTC in the top left (your default pairing may be different)
This will open the 3rd picture: select “FIAT” and your chosen pairing

Fees are the same regardless if you’re a Maker or Taker, so I won’t overcomplicate with Limit orders
Select “Buy” and choose “Market” from the drop down
Select “Total” rather than “Amount” and you can enter how much GBP you want to spend

From the same page, select the symbol on the bottom right
This will open up the 2nd picture
Go to “Order History” and you can see your purchase
Because I done a Market order, it got filled immediately
Go back to “Wallets” and select “Spot” at the top
You’ll see your balance
