Dear idiots wearing camo in an urban environment, and no this is not directed at Zip Tie Hostage Guy specifically, but applies to all doing this regardless of political leaning - you are wearing a fingerprint. 1/5
It seems that camouflage clothing is cut from huge rolls of cloth, and to minimize waste they twist and angle everything to use as much of the cloth as possible. Coupled with a complex and repeating printed pattern on the cloth, each piece of clothing is unique. 2/5
It is unique enough that camo clothing on a person caught on video surveillance or in photos can be confirm identity. If you are a fan of the ID Network, and watch the shows that focus on forensics and video surveillance as evidence, you already know this. 3/5
The suspect is found, says “it’s not me in that video” but then they find the fingerprint in his dirty laundry basket that matches the video. Obviously not all the evidence used to convict him, but a solid coffin nail. 4/5
Ask a physical pen tester what they wear on the job in urban environments. It isn’t camo unless they are breaking into a camo clothing convention. End of rant. 5/5
