Fellow wheelchair users - I am curious!
In general conversation about getting somewhere, do you say "I walked there"/ "I went for a walk". Or do you use wheelchair language? ("I wheeled there/ I went for a roll/ Shall we push to the shops?")
(If other - comment below!)

For me personally, in general every-day usage I only ever say walk "I'm going for a walk" or "let's walk to the shops".
It's only in conversations about accessibility that I specify wheeling. i.e "Pavements need more dropped kerbs to enable wheeling."

In find myself using a lot of 'walking' language and imagery. If I'm shocked I'll say "I need to sit down" despite the fact I am literally always sat down.
Also: I travel "on foot"; when I'm drunk I'm "legless"; when I'm in a hurry I "run".
I've never thought twice about this!
