Starting off with attacking. Kieran Tierney has 1 goal and 1 assist this season in the premier league. It may not look like much, but don’t be deceived by these stats. He has been brutally robbed of clear cut assists like this

This season, Kieran Tierney has created 19 chances from open play this season. This stat has only been bettered by Andy Robertson (21) and Joao Cancelo (22). Pretty good for someone who has played half the season at LCB

Ever since arteta changed the formation, Tierney has been flourishing playing as an actual LB. He has been able to bomb forward and show his attacking prowess. Like this assist vs west brom.
Now onto defending. KT has already shown he is a solid defender. Like this tackle against Watford. Tierney anticipates the run from Sarr and times the tackle to perfection.
One of Tierney’s most underrated abilities is his passing. Look at this pass that he pings perfectly into the winger.
Not to mention how much of a good leader he is. He shows passion, aggression, works hard and leaves everything on the pitch. Has all the qualities of a world class captain and most likely will end up being one.

Tierney should start being appreciated as one of the best LBs in the league. So consistent and reliable. Hopefully he continues to get more respect and continue the form he is in.
