Is Bernie a Russian Asset?

Part 3: Bernie stole Hillary’s voter data and may have been assisted by Russia and/or passed the data to Russia

No one can explain this better than @lizburgh’s thread, linked below. The following is my summary of her incredible work.

In December 2015, the company that supplies Democratic campaigns with voter data updated its systems and the update had a bug that allowed the various Dem campaigns to access each other’s data. Bernie’s campaign immediately discovered the flaw and raided Hillary’s voter data.

The data accessed by Bernie’s campaign was incredibly valuable data compiled at great time and expense to Hillary’s campaign, and Bernie’s campaign focused on the data related to 15 battleground states, giving it a massive advantage.

The GRU (through its “Gucifer 2.0” persona) bragged about its ability to access the same data Bernie’s campaign accessed and pointed to Bernie’s access of the data in a way that implied they may have worked together.

Bernie got caught and, as a result, fired his chief data person. Bernie said the whole thing was a big mistake, but Bernie’s chief strategist, Tad Devine, made clear in this tweet that it wasn’t a mistake at all:

Tad Devine had worked with Paul Manafort on projects for Vladimir Putin in Ukraine, and Manafort ended up passing voter data to Russia while on Trump’s campaign, raising the question of whether the data Manafort gave Russia was the same data Bernie and Devine stole from Hillary: https://twitter.com/jackabryan/status/1032417082070249473

Bernie and Devine should be investigated to determine whether Russia alerted his campaign to the bug in the software that allowed it to access Hillary’s data.

Bernie and Devine also should be investigated to determine whether they gave Manafort the data they stole from Hillary.

If Bernie or his associates colluded with Russia in stealing Hillary’s voter data or if they passed that data to Manafort, allowing him to pass it to the Russians, then Bernie is in fact a Russian asset.
