I'm overwhelemed by the outpouring of support for my #Nocode @beondeck news. Will get back to everyone. Really looking forward to learning and sharing all the knowledge.

Right now I'm currently flip-flopping between two potential customer types I want to serve and build for.
🧠 The first customer type is founders and makers who have been to therapy and want to find more balance in their working lives.

👩🏾‍🎨 The second is creative people and makers that want to monetise.
Both of these customer types are potentially good because:

📈 They're part of a growing market
🌎 Mental health and the passion economy are huge
💸 My potential customers are already spending money
💖 They're areas close to my heart
🏖 There's enough space to build a niche biz
One benefit of choosing the customer first over the solution or even the problem is that you drastically reduce your risk by not being presumptuous or making assumptions.
By choosing a customer type you enjoy hanging out with you're likely to be empathetic and listen. Also, you won't get hurt by building the wrong thing, because you'll be guided by your customers and their needs.
I also chose two customer types I have relatively easy access to. That's not to say I don't want to make something that will help the most amount of people, but I want to focus around identifying customers and channels to invalidate things quickly.
Who are my first 100 customers?
Where are they?
Do they have a problem they want solving?
Will they pay?
Have they ever paid in money or time to have the problem solved?
I don't have a vision in mind for what I want to build. But I know that if I can make a hundred founders feel less overwhelmed or a hundred creatives make enough money to keep making art, I'll be happy.
My business brain is currently leaning more towards the creative economy one as 'selling picks and shovels to gold-miners' is always good business. However, my heart is leading me more towards the mental health tool as I passionately believe in stronger mental health for everyone
Luckily, I enjoy talking to founders and creative entrepreneurs, so even if it all falls to pieces, I'll have a great time.

And if you are one, reply to this or slide into my DMs and let's have a chat.
