It’s really easy for “post-leftists” to just take the right-wing side of the culture war because it triggers libs. Triggering libs is fun but not a viable strategy for doing anything substantial to improve the material conditions of workers and the poor.
I’ve seen a lot of you claim to be above the culture war while consistently siding with the right-wing because they appear to have more “working class” authenticity. It’s superficial. Both left and right count rich and poor in their ranks. Both are used by the bourgeoisie.
Remember folks, the alt-right is an ideological basement directly next to and reflective of the lib-left. By going into the other basement you aren’t really doing anything new, just speaking to a different audience with different means of cope (masculinity instead of victimhood)
People on the post-left are starting careers as professional critics of the PMC on behalf of the “underclass” - a huge distortion of the class divide that makes it seem like anyone who hates liberals must also be pro-worker or whatever.
I hate liberals, we all hate liberals. But liberals aren’t a class, they’re shock troops for the bourgeoisie’s left flank. Their right flank is smaller and more rural which creates the illusion that it’s more authentically working class. But billionaires run it all
End of the day we’re all just brands trying not to be brands. Left or right, there’s a grift for you to become part of. The money flows upward regardless
When you think about it, it makes sense that the left flank of the ruling class has more numbers and more money/tech behind it. It uses the language of the 1960s New Left and Frankfurt School “Marxism” to preach equality. That’s a mass message that appeals to the marginalized.
The right flank of capital/the bourgeoisie is by definition smaller because it’s supposed to appeal to the once-proud individualist, using the remnants of feudal authority (white male supremacy), the myth of the idyllic 1950s and the rural frontiersman.
Where one side uses victimhood and femininity as underdog virtues to champion, the other side sees those things as evidence of totalitarian rule by technocrats bent on destroying the family. They’re both copes for each side’s suffering at the hands of “their” masters
