Because I know there's anxiety out there, something that's hopefully reassuring:
Despite what Ontario Premier Doug Ford just said about the province running out of vaccines, that is not what the publicly posted data/stats and the briefings from gov't officials are showing/saying.
On top of that, my colleague @CBCQueensPark was briefed yesterday that another shipment of 48K doses has been sent to Ontario as of yesterday.
And on Tuesday, Maj Gen Fortin laid out the additional Moderna and Pfizer/BioNTech deliveries for the rest of the month.
Not getting vaccines to all the specific injection sites in an efficient/timely way? Possible, not denying specific shortages may exist for some.
But that's a different issue than the province "running out."
UPDATE from PMJT at Rideau Cottage just now... piling on to what I said above about January deliveries:
"Quantities of both the Pfizer and the Moderna vaccine will scale up in February."
(We'll see if we get a definition of this in numerical terms as today's briefings continue.)
Ontario's data has just refreshed.
The province Thurs came in just shy of the 15K/day doses Ford mentioned yesterday: 14,932
87.5K doses now administered in Ont. since the start of the immunization campaign
and over 4K now have had *both shots*

So... progress?
That said, just to circle to my original point... Ontario now has taken delivery on close to 200K doses if you count this week's arrival.
It's administered only 88Kish of them.
It's NOT running out, by this reckoning.
As previewed by the PM, MajGen Fortin at the PHAC briefing now is laying out week by week shipment plan to get to 4 million doses of PfBioN and 2 million doses of Moderna by the end of March. Appears to be more certainty for shipments through end of Q1 - prov/terrs can plan now?
